Cut By An Artist

This sapphire was cut by lapidary artist Jesse James, whose approach to the stone was one of deep respect for its natural character. Rather than forcing a standard outline, the cut was customized to honor the color zoning, positioning the facets to maximize the interplay between the green and golden zones, drawing out brilliance and light performance that a conventional cut would have sacrificed.
